- Chronic illness and pain.
- Side effects of certain medications.
These services include responding to emergency calls, coordinating search and rescue efforts, providing emotional support and counseling, and keeping families informed about the Progress.
The crisis intervention team is made up of trained professionals who are equipped to handle the unique needs of families and loved ones of missing persons in a compassionate and sensitive manner.
They work closely with local law enforcement and other organizations to ensure that families have access to the resources and support they need during this difficult time.
In addition to providing crisis intervention services, the Chhaya Foundation also offers support groups, resources and information about legal and financial assistance, and community outreach programs to raise awareness about missing person cases and reduce the stigma associated with them.
Crisis Intervention Services
Helpline Services
These services provide a confidential and anonymous way for people to talk to a trained counselor or mental health professional. They can provide support, information, and referrals.
Mobile Crisis Teams
These are composed of mental health professionals who respond to crisis situations in the community, such as at a person's home or in a public place.
Walk-in Crisis Centers
These centers provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals in crisis. These Centers often offer counseling, support groups, and other resources.
Peer Support
We do assist individual and Families at their location as a part of crisis intervention service which is provided by individuals who have personal experience with mental health challenges.
Online Counseling
We offer online counseling and chat services for people who may not be able to access traditional forms of crisis intervention.
Community Based Intervention
We provide support and resources to individuals in crisis through community centers, churches, and other local organizations.
